ABOUT KELVINGTON MOBILE HEALTH SERVICES

Kelvington Mobile Health Services (KMHS) is a full service ambulance company that provides emergency treatment and transport, medical transportation, residential visitations, public education, and mobile public health clinics. We also specialize in water related emergencies day or night year round with our PADI certified rescue divers.

The fleet includes two FLIR equipped, intensive care, advanced life support ambulances and one basic life support ambulance which are used for emergency responses, transport of critical patients to tertiary facilities from primary care facilities in the area, and transport of clients for medical specialist consults. We also provide convalescent transport for clients who have been inpatients at a tertiary facility and transport for clients who are returning home. In total, the fleet conducts over 600 calls annually. In addition, we have dedicated remote and wilderness access vehicles used to gain access to individuals who require assistance while enjoying almost 400kms of snowmobile trails throughout more than 1000 square kilometers of the Porcupine Provincial Forest. Our Advanced Care Paramedics, Intermediate Care Paramedics, and Primary Care Paramedics provide primary coverage to approximately 4500 people spread over 3000 square kilometers. Through our mutual aid program, our Advanced Care Paramedics also respond to critical incidents throughout the secondary response zone noted on the map below.
